Don’t Get Trendy

Don’t just do what is trendy.
How many congregations are doing social media and have absolutely no idea why?
How many pastors have a blog and have no idea why?
Are you multi-site with a vision, or just because it worked for another congregation?

Trends are short sited, God’s calling is eternal. Better for a congregation to be born today and dead in 30 years building the Kingdom, than for a church born 100 years ago to last another 50 doing what is trendy.

Don’t let your memory die when you can no longer keep up with the trends, let your legacy be that of a Kingdom builder who ran the race.

We are in a war, our battle plan is to be directed by Scripture, learned through Prayer, prayer without ceasing.
